Fact or Fiction.. Orb Studies
We at ECGHS are going to conduct our own orb study for our personal use. If you would like us to be a part of your orb study, please leave a comment. Most of us have not personally seen a "ghost" and for me personally, ive only seen orbs, and strange happenings in photographs. Nothing with the naked eye. So let me start off by saying this. What is an orb?
Orbs are believed (by many) to be ghosts in the form of balls of light. They are life forms that travel in groups and are believed to be the human soul or life force of those that once inhabited a physical body here on earth. Psychics claim to talk to them on a regular basis, and ghost hunters encounter them quite frequently. It is said that they are those spirits that have willingly stayed behind because they feel bound to their previous life or previous location for whatever reason. Because of this obsession they tend to become similar to a psychotic human beings. It should be said that the majority of us when we die proceed gladly and willingly to the next level of existence after saying our quiet good-byes, which means we're off to the spirit world. Then again, as stated, a select few elect to stay behind because of a refusal to move on. Apparently the longer they stay behind, the harder it is to find their way to the next level, which again, is the spirit world.
Ghostly orbs are the most photographed anomalies caught on film by ghost hunters and are quite photogenic (when they want to be). They can be completely transparent or display themselves in a bright solid form. It is not hard to capture them on film in their circular form. It is theorized that ghosts prefer the form of an Orb (ball of light) because it takes less energy thus being the mode of choice among the ghosts. The consensus is that small orbs take up the least amount of energy and apparitions and other fuller shapes take up the most. In the colder parts of the year, it seems that ghosts tend to find it easier to take on shapes other than orbs. That's when there is the most static electricity in the atmosphere. Those months being October through February. It is also believed that they are able to draw on our own energy when needed

Orbs will always bring controversy but the simple fact is they do exist many discredit them however 37 years of looking at so many photos i have come to believe that some cases yes dust particles others rain drops sand etc. but the larger orbs when examining them close look inside the orb you will be surprised the trained eye will find faces bodys figures and such so befor fastly trying to judge and discredit as i have seen so many do quickly look closer examine what you have .. and it doesnt take a fancy camera or high tech gadget to capture them.

one more small piece of advice there are thousands of investagators world wide intsead of bashing other groups for work that they may have done examine there work if you find it isnt to your liking keep it to yourself. the main key in investagations of any sort is simple you and all others are trying to provide the world with proof that the existance of the spirtual realm exists and as Paul Harvey says "good Day"

99% of all orbs caught on film can be debunked as dust or bugs. Very few are analyzed correctly. I would also have to say that not ever orb is a spirit. Orbs are mainly clusters of energy. Whether a spirit wants to utilize that energy and show itself is up to it. All in all I'm very interested in them but I think you need to do a little more professional research before showing tons of orbs as "ghostly" evidence.

My daughter took a photo of me and the photo showed an orb. This is what she called it. She said that sometimes faces are in the orbs. I blew up the photo and she was right. There is a mans face in the big white spot that is clearly in the photo.

I agree with TRM. I have done alot to research Orbs. If you take a dusty counter and blow on it and snap a quick pic you will have tons of Orbs in it. Big ones and little ones. If you blow up the big ones and you let your mind go out of check, you will see faces in them. As researchers we need to rule out all natural things first. To many people are trying to prove that they are paranormal, Prove to me they are NOT first then lets look at the paranormal side. Lets start basing it off science instead of our personal feelings.

If you blow up the big ones and you let your mind go out of check, you will see faces in them. As researchers we need to rule out all natural things first. To many people are trying to prove that they are paranormal, Prove to me they are NOT first then lets look at the paranormal side. Lets start basing it off science instead of our personal feeelings.

I was skeptical of orbs as well. I took photos at gudgeonville bride once, though and there were so many orbs in the photos. They would not be there then when I would call to the spirits orbs would appear. I sound like a lunatic and normally I would discredit these blobs as just that, dust, scratches on the lens whatever. But orbs are never in my pictures and on that night they were everywhere. What really got me though is that when I zoomed in on some of these orbs they were swiggly, almost hazy and usually either bright yellow or blue. and Yes some did look like there were faces in them. When you zoom in on an orb that is clearly dust its like see through dusty looking.. these orbs did not look like that. They were blurred shiny images that almost looked like portals into another world. Anyone can believe what they want to.. I believe in it now, I think spirits can be captures on film.

If you take a photo with two different cameras in a room from two different angles at the same exact time and the "orb" is in both it is then interesting and could maybe be something who knows. One camera from one angle..nope, it's a bug or dust or water. Sorry to say, we have no proof orbs exist. People that talk to them are probably in need of mental help. And this is what is discrediting paranormal science. I would move on to other things that could be of more use to this controversial field. Any group that focuses on orbs is losing sight of what's important and isn't really doing their research and is jumping to conclusions.

It is a proven fact that the human psyche will see the human face matrixed in just about anything. Case in point..people that see Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary in their grilled cheese. The human face is a comfort to the human mind, so in many cases where people claim to have seen faces in orbs so on and so forth it's actually a matrixing effect and not a face. FYI

My name is Karen...I lived in Sebring, FL in the summer of 2004 when Hurricane Charlie came thru. It happened in the day, and by night it was calm out, but no power anywhere, completely dark, black...It was Fri, Aug. 13. That night I was sitting on my back screen room in total darkness. Suddenly an orb shot out of the woods to our bedroom window and hovered there maybe 4 or 5 seconds, then spiraled up and over the roof, a few seconds later it spiraled back down and shot like a flash back into the woods. It was about the size of a baseball and was white light, it didn't emit light, it was contained within it's self...the entire thing took maybe 10 or 15 seconds, but was amazing! Even if I had a camera at hand, I doubt I would have had the presence of mind to try to photograph it...It was the last thing in the world I ever expected to see! I would love to know more about them, but there are so many theorys....Thanks for letting me share my orb experience...

Orbs....thats a good one. I personally tend to bebunk most orbs as dust, humidity, bugs, or just random moisture in the air. However, we ocassionally get the orb that we try and we try to debunk, and just can't. Usually, these orbs will emit there own light, sometimes colored. The best ones show light and are moving at the same time (and they are NOT lightning bugs!) But...I gotta say, that whenever our sensitive detects a presance, I start snapping pictures where she points and, you got it! I get orbs, mist, or ecto. When that happens, I kind of have to lean towards the 'Orbs are spirits' theory.
And...just for the heck of it, I have never seen a face in an orb. That's just plain weird!!
