Battles Museum- Girard Pa

They had a festival in downtown Girard today where we got to tour both the yellow and the white house. The yellow house is the Battles Museum. If you do a search for that you will find the history behind it. Here are the links to the actual photos of both places. These places were supposedly haunted. We actually spoke to the volunteers from the museums who are afraid to be there at night. There are 2 pictures i need you guys to tell me what you think. These i will post here.

The 1st picture zoom in on the mirror sitting behind me was the bookcase which you will be able to see. The green, i was thinking could be the grass thats next to the window where the mirror is reflecting off the glass of the book case. But what do you see beyond that?

Also this was upstairs in a bedroom. The light was from my flash, but look beyond that and zoom in. What do you see. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

We're also going on the ghost tour tonight, I hope to visit these 2 places again, but this time at night!

2nd Trip- Chestnut Grove Cemetary, Ashtabula OH

And here we are, this will be the 2nd trip that we take to the chestnut grove cemetary. The first trip we took was last weekend. We ended up getting there at dusk. ALL the pictures i took, came out black. I had the flash on and it was working fine. But the pictures didn't come out. It was a disappointment. It was really creepy up there. We found Collins mausoleum. I took some great shots but like i said, none of them came out and i didn't feel like turning the brightness up on all of them. The bugs were out in full force. This was a huge cemetary. We are heading back out there today. I want to go in daytime so we can get better shots. Also when i was taking the pictures, my batteries fell out of my camera twice for an unknown reason. I have seen pictures from others about a tombstone that appeared in there pictures but not in the cemetary (a phantom tombstone) I will post our findings when we return.

New Investigations

Its been a few days since our last investigations, So i figured id update them now.

Girard Cemetary
We didn't spend too much time here. Wanted to take a quick walk around. Nothing out of the ordinary came up in pictures and im still trying to analyze the recordings. Still working my way around Adobe audition. Any EVP analyzing tips? Please email me as im not the recording analyzer. We need to go back and spend more time here.

Undisclosed Residence
We decided to take up this investigation after visiting the cemetary. This house is a flat which one person is living in the upper level. He had access to the attic. Which was nailed shut before he moved in. He figured, hey since im paying to live here, i might as well check out the attic and see if i could use it for storage, so he took the nails of the door. The attic is huge! He stored some of his stuff up there. He has told us stories of how boxes have been moved and noises were being heard. We couldn't rule out anything. There could have been squirrels or any kind of animal up there it was so large. We took alot of pictures and took some evp recordings. We are still analyzing those, So stay tuned as we post our findings.
update- Apparently he decided to do a little test on his own. He put one smaller box inside another bigger box and made sure they were taped together. The next day he went back up there and the smaller box was on the other side of the attic.
We will post our findings shortly.

Fact or Fiction.. Orb Studies

We at ECGHS are going to conduct our own orb study for our personal use. If you would like us to be a part of your orb study, please leave a comment. Most of us have not personally seen a "ghost" and for me personally, ive only seen orbs, and strange happenings in photographs. Nothing with the naked eye. So let me start off by saying this. What is an orb?

Orbs are believed (by many) to be ghosts in the form of balls of light. They are life forms that travel in groups and are believed to be the human soul or life force of those that once inhabited a physical body here on earth. Psychics claim to talk to them on a regular basis, and ghost hunters encounter them quite frequently. It is said that they are those spirits that have willingly stayed behind because they feel bound to their previous life or previous location for whatever reason. Because of this obsession they tend to become similar to a psychotic human beings. It should be said that the majority of us when we die proceed gladly and willingly to the next level of existence after saying our quiet good-byes, which means we're off to the spirit world. Then again, as stated, a select few elect to stay behind because of a refusal to move on. Apparently the longer they stay behind, the harder it is to find their way to the next level, which again, is the spirit world.
Ghostly orbs are the most photographed anomalies caught on film by ghost hunters and are quite photogenic (when they want to be). They can be completely transparent or display themselves in a bright solid form. It is not hard to capture them on film in their circular form. It is theorized that ghosts prefer the form of an Orb (ball of light) because it takes less energy thus being the mode of choice among the ghosts. The consensus is that small orbs take up the least amount of energy and apparitions and other fuller shapes take up the most. In the colder parts of the year, it seems that ghosts tend to find it easier to take on shapes other than orbs. That's when there is the most static electricity in the atmosphere. Those months being October through February. It is also believed that they are able to draw on our own energy when needed

Well i was playing with my audio recordings in adobe and think ive got some really good EVPs, ill have to upload when i get home. I was thinking. Im going to make another trip down to gugeonville. Something is telling me to go back there. and also we're going to have an investigation at the Erie Cemetary. Those are more to come.
I would like to get some user comments. What more would you like to see? Im hoping on our next investigation i will catch more on my pictures than just orbs. Those are hard to tell whether they are actually an orb or just a dust particle. Post Investigation- Girard Cemetaries

I must say, we all had a blast. It was a good night. I finally figured out how to upload the audio recordings from my DVR to my pc. but now the challenge is cleaning it up. Im trying audacity now (been playing with it for a few days) i still can't figure the damn thing out. Im downloading adobe audition as we speak so i can give that a try. Any audio junkies out there? Leave a comment if there is. I suck at audio.
The night was perfect weather. It wasn't hot or cold, it was perfect. The first stop was the old alms cemetary on blair road. We met there about 9:30. Looked at the history and took some pictures. Apparently theres nobody buried there. Just everybodys ashes scattered everywhere. Lots of unknown plaques on the walls, which was really sad. We stayed there for about an hour and then headed off to the Drury Cemetary on Drury Rd. Hard to find in the dark since ive only been there once. This place was really really really creepy. Its a very small old cemetary. I walked around for a bit and took some pictures and then stood next to the exit (which was by my car..lol) Seeing as i didn't have a flash light. Theres alot of history there as well. A couple of the headstones were so weathered you couldn't even read them. I read some of them and they dated back in the early 1800s. Pretty neat. Took more pictures there and also got about 10 minutes of audio. I placed my DVR on the largest stones there and left it while we walked around and took pictures. After this post, i will post pictures of our findings and then after i figure out some of these audio programs, or if somebodys willing to help me, i will post any EVPs we come across, if any.

Investigation- Girard Cemetaries

We are heading out tonight. To 3 cemetaries in Girard to be exact. The 1st one is off blair rd, almost in fairview. Its a small cemetary. Ive been there once geocaching with hubby and its pretty nice. Ive heard some tales about that cemetary. Heres the link - Its pretty interesting.
Next we are going to head down to the girard cemetary. That place is huge and dates back pretty far. Ive also heard some tales about this place as well. Plus when i was younger, i used to walk through it at night by myself on my way home. I used to get creepy feelings going through there. We shall see when we get some proof.
Last cemetery we are going to visit is the Drury Family Cemetery. Came upon this one geocaching as well. Nice little place with alot of history. Hopefully the rain will stay away just for tonight. Lets see, we are looking at Normal SolarX Rays and a Geomagnetic Field Storm. Heres my information on what that means:

Solar Flare activity and Geomagnetic Field activity seems to affect the amount of ghost activity. Research has shown us that during periods of heightened solar flare activity and geomagnetic activity in space, the amount of spirit activity increases.
M class and X class flares are good sources of energy for the spirits to use to manifest. Spirits often tap into normal electrical sources such as electrical appliances and batteries to get this energy but on days when the air is full of excess energy due to a solar storm or flare, they have a surplus of energy to tap into.
